We will again offer portfolio reviews during the Lumix Festival this year to underline our philosophy to support young photojournalists and to advance them in their development. Experienced and renowned photographers and picture editors, who are familiar with the photography market, take the time to review each portfolio for half an hour. Amongst others, that's

Ernesto Bazan (photographer)
Peter Bitzer (managing partner, laif)
David Burnett (photographer, Contact Press Images)
Carolyn Drake (photographer)
Lutz Fischmann (CEO, FREELENS)
Thomas Hoepker (photographer, Magnum Photos)
Ed Kashi (photographer and multimedia productions)
Ina Kossatz (picture editor, laif)
Daniel Rosenthal (photographer, laif)

The reviews will only take place from Thursday, 17th June, to Saturday, 19th June, from 11 am to 2.30 pm each day. The portfolio should show a cross section of the photographers own photojournalistic work. To give each applicant a chance to take part in the review, the portfolio can only be shown to one reviewer. The reviewer can not be chosen by the applicant. The reviews are free of charge and there is no age limit.

Unfortunately, all the dates are booked out.
After we receive the application and the photos you will be informed by email about the exact time of your portfolio review. Please come to the 4th gallery in the Design Center on time, the reviews will take place in an adjacent room. There is no guarantee for the scheduled appointment.

It is still possible to check on the 4th gallery during the festival whether you can get an appointment that just opened up on short notice.
